About the Dragon Quest III Reprise Translation

Dragon Quest III was the third DeJap project (Seiken Densetsu 3 was second which was superceeded by Neill Corlett's translation of the same game), started in 1998. Originally, Drayman Darklight was working on the translation with help from Max Hiroyuki Ueda and a patch of their work was released under DeJap, which can still be found today on many translation and emulation sites. Times have since changed and now we are working anew together with Illuminus to completely redo all previous work and provide a better translation. Drayman and Max's work will no longer be a part of this project but their work is still available for download. With Illuminus, we hope to provide a very professional quality translation that Dragon Quest fans were robbed of.
